What is the SmartSMSSolutions’ Address Book?

Well, as the name implies, the SmartSMSSolutions’ Address Book is an online directory, so to speak, that you can use to save the phone numbers of your SMS recipients. It has different features that allow you to add as many numbers as possible, remove some phone numbers, send SMS directly to a group of persons or even delete a group when it no longer serves the purpose intended. 

How to Create an Address Book

The first step to take if you want to save phone numbers as a group on your SMS account is to create the Address Book, which is also known as the Phone Book Group. 

Here is the process for doing this:

1. Login to your SmartSMSSolutions account on app.smartsmssolutions.com
2. On the left menu on your Dashboard, click on SMS
3. Then select the 4th option under that menu which is Address Book 
4. Next, click on CREATE A NEW ADDRESS BOOK GROUP 
5. On the next page, you will see a box labeled Group Name. Enter the name of the group you want to create. E.g; My Staff, My Phone Contacts e.t.c. 
6. Once you’ve typed the group name, click on Create Group 

How to Save Phone Numbers on the New Group 

After creating the new address book, the next thing is to save phone numbers on the group you’ve created. 

Follow the steps below to add phone numbers to your created group:

• Follow Steps 1-4 listed above for creating a new address group
• On the Address Book Group Page, look down under the section; My Phone Book Group 
• Locate the address book group you’ve just created
• Next to the Group Name and phone number count, you will find a list of options.
• Click on the 3rd option; Add Contacts 
• On the next page, enter the phone numbers you want to save inside the box tagged Phone Numbers 
• When you are done entering the numbers, click on Add Phone Numbers 

The phone numbers are instantly saved on the group you’ve just created. 

Subsequently, when you need to send SMS to those phone numbers, you do not need to input those phone numbers again, but just select the group and send.
