You can get phone numbers in a file when you export numbers from your mobile phone, be it an android phone or even an iPhone. There might also be times when you might receive phone numbers to send SMS to in a file, probably from a client or a colleague. 

Follow the steps listed below to send SMS to phone numbers that are saved in a file:

1. Login to your SmartSMSSolutions account on app.smartsmssolutions.com. (If you do not have an account yet, register a free one now).
2. Once you log in, you are directed to your Dashboard. Click on Send SMS on the dashboard. 
3. On the next page, under Compose SMS, input your Sender ID. (See here how to submit Sender ID for registration before it can deliver)
4. Next, click on Upload Recipients.
5. Then, select CHOOSE FILE
6. Navigate to where the file containing the phone numbers is on your PC or your mobile device.
7. Select the file.
8. This process will upload the recipients saved inside the file on the system for sending SMS
9. You can then type the body of your message in the box under Message and click on SEND SMS.

Note that the file types (formats) that are supported are: .txt, .csv, .rtf, .odt, .doc, .docs, .xls, .xlsx.

This is yet another option that can be used in sending SMS to multiple phone numbers all at once.
