        How School Proprietors can Communicate Staff Performance Reports and Metrics

        According to the words of the English political theorist quoted above, which are in no way from the truth, it is very important to measure the performance of employees in your establishment if only you are to get improvement from them, and by extension get them more productive. School proprietors also should let this be an integral part of their school management principles.

        School proprietors should have in place a system that measures the performance of their staff. This performance might be in terms of punctuality, regular presence, regular update of lesson notes, effectiveness in teaching, improvement in the performance of their students or a lack of it, how well the students understand the teacher, and even relationship with other employees.

        With this performance measurement, the organization or the school in question will be able to know which staff are adding values to the school and which ones are not. Then as a school owner who wants to get the best out of your investment, you’ll then know how to address the situation, help those who need improvement and are willing to improve, and those not open to improvement to step aside.

        School proprietors can set up meetings with the staff of the establishment to discuss the performance metrics of each staff with him/her. Areas, where they do well, can be applauded and areas needing improvement can be discussed.
