Comprehensive collection of 60+ Jumma Mubarak duas with Arabic, transliteration, and English translation. Includes timing guides, authentic sources, and the special hour of acceptance prayers.
Every Friday holds a secret - an hour when Allah accepts every sincere dua without exception. But here's what most people don't know: the entire day of Jumma is filled with specific moments and prayers that multiply rewards and guarantee acceptance.
After years of studying authentic hadith and consulting scholars, I've compiled the most powerful Friday duas that actually get results. These aren't just random supplications - each one is tied to specific times and situations that the Prophet (ﷺ) himself taught us about.
Whether you're preparing for Jumma prayers, sitting in the mosque, or making dua at home, this guide walks you through exactly what to recite, when to recite it, and why it matters. I've included the Arabic text for blessing, transliteration for proper pronunciation, and English translation so you understand every word you're saying.
The Golden Hour: The Prophet (ﷺ) said there's an hour on Friday when duas are guaranteed acceptance. Most scholars believe it's either: (1) When the Imam sits between the two khutbahs, or (2) The last hour before Maghrib. Make special dua during both times to ensure you catch it!
Pre-Jumma Preparation Duas (Dawn to Noon)
The spiritual preparation for Jumma begins at Fajr. These duas set the tone for your entire Friday, opening doors of mercy before you even reach the mosque.
Prophetic Wisdom: "Whoever performs ghusl on Friday, wears his best clothes, applies perfume if he has it, then comes to Jumma without stepping over people, prays what is decreed for him, then remains silent when the Imam speaks - his sins between that Friday and the next are forgiven." [Authentic Hadith]
1. Upon Waking on Friday Morning
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after death and to Him is the resurrection.
Special Friday Addition: Add "on this blessed Friday" (في هذا اليوم المبارك) for extra blessing.
2. After Fajr Prayer - The Major Forgiveness Dua
I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Magnificent, whom there is none worthy of worship except Him, the Living, the Self-Sustaining, and I repent to Him.
Friday Benefit: Recite 3 times after Fajr on Friday = forgiveness of all minor sins, even if they were like ocean foam. [Ibn Majah]
3. During Friday Morning Dhikr
There is no deity except Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs dominion and praise. He gives life and death, and He is over all things competent.
Friday Special: 100 times between Fajr and sunrise on Friday = rewards of freeing 10 slaves + 100 good deeds + protection from Shaytan all day.
4. Before Leaving Home for Jumma
O Allah, place light in my heart, light on my tongue, light in my hearing, and light in my sight.
Continue with: "...and light above me, light below me, light to my right, light to my left, light in front of me, light behind me, place light in my soul, and magnify light for me."
5. Walking to the Mosque
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, there is no power or might except with Allah.
Reward: Each step erases a sin and raises you one degree in Paradise.
6. Seeing the Mosque
O Allah, place light in my heart, light upon my tongue, and grant me light.
7. Special Morning Salawat for Friday
Allahumma salli wa sallim 'ala nabiyyina Muhammad
O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad.
Friday Formula: Recite 80+ times minimum. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever sends salawat upon me 80 times on Friday, Allah forgives 80 years of sins."
Duas for Entering the Mosque
The moments of entering the mosque for Jumma carry special significance. These duas ensure you enter with the right intention and receive maximum blessings.
8. Entering with Right Foot
A'udhu billahil-'Azeem wa bi wajhihil-kareem wa sultanihil-qadeem minash-shaytanir-rajeem
I seek refuge in Allah the Magnificent, His Noble Face, and His Eternal Authority from the accursed Shaytan.
Then say:
Bismillah, Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad, Allahumma-ftah li abwaba rahmatik
In the name of Allah, O Allah send blessings upon Muhammad, O Allah open for me the doors of Your mercy.
9. Upon Sitting in the Mosque
Glory be to Allah, all praise is for Allah, there is no deity except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
Special Note: Continue this dhikr until the Imam arrives. Angels write down every word.
10. Tahiyyatul Masjid (2 Rakat Prayer) Dua
After praying 2 rakat upon entering, make this dua:
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
Allahumma Antas-Salam wa minkas-salam, tabarakta ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram
O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.
Silent Duas During Khutbah
While we must remain silent during the khutbah, internal duas are not only permitted but highly recommended during specific moments.
Important: These duas should be made silently in your heart without moving your lips or making any sound. Even saying "Ameen" aloud during khutbah nullifies Jumma rewards.
11. When Imam Sits Between Two Khutbahs
This is potentially THE hour of acceptance! Make your most important duas now:
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-nar
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
12. When Imam Mentions the Prophet (ﷺ)
Send salawat silently in your heart:
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
SallAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam
May Allah's blessings and peace be upon him.
13. When Imam Makes General Dua
Say "Ameen" silently in your heart and add your personal needs:
اللَّهُمَّ اسْتَجِبْ دُعَاءَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Allahumma-stajib du'a'ana warhamna ya Arhamar-Rahimeen
O Allah, answer our supplication and have mercy on us, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
The Hour of Acceptance - Special Duas
These are the most powerful duas to make during the confirmed times of acceptance on Friday.

Frequently Asked Questions About Friday Duas
Essential Questions About Jumma Supplications
When exactly is the hour of acceptance on Friday?
Scholars have two strong opinions based on authentic hadith: (1) When the Imam sits between the two khutbahs - make silent dua in your heart then. (2) The last hour before Maghrib - sit facing qiblah and pour out your heart. The Prophet (ﷺ) intentionally didn't specify to encourage Muslims to make dua throughout Friday. Cover both times to ensure you catch it!
Can women at home receive the same Friday dua acceptance?
Absolutely! The hour of acceptance applies to all Muslims, not just those in the mosque. Women praying at home should make special dua during both potential times. In fact, a woman's sincere dua at home while managing household duties carries immense weight with Allah. Make wudu, face qiblah, and dedicate time especially between Asr and Maghrib.
Should duas be made in Arabic only or can I use English?
While prophetic duas in Arabic carry special blessings, Allah understands all languages. The best approach: memorize key Arabic duas for their specific rewards, but pour your heart out in your native language for personal needs. Allah looks at sincerity, not language. A tearful dua in English from the heart is better than Arabic words without understanding or feeling.
Is there a specific number of times to repeat each dua?
Some duas have specified numbers: Istighfar (3x after Fajr on Friday), certain dhikr (100x for specific rewards), salawat (minimum 80x on Friday). For personal duas, odd numbers are preferred (1, 3, 7). But remember - quality over quantity. One sincere dua with presence of heart outweighs mindless repetition. The Prophet (ﷺ) sometimes made one dua throughout an entire night.
What if I miss Jumma prayer - do my duas still get accepted?
Missing Jumma without valid excuse is serious, but Allah's mercy on Friday extends to all. If you're exempt (woman, traveler, sick), your duas carry the same Friday blessing. If you missed due to negligence, start with sincere repentance, then make your duas. The last hour before Maghrib remains open to all. However, attending Jumma when obligatory amplifies the acceptance of duas.
Can I make dua for non-Muslim family members on Friday?
You can pray for their guidance to Islam, their worldly well-being, health, and safety. The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed for his non-Muslim uncle's guidance. However, avoid praying for their forgiveness in the afterlife if they're not Muslim. Focus on: "O Allah, guide my family to Islam and make it easy for them to accept the truth." Friday's blessed time makes such guidance duas especially powerful.
Conclusion: Your Friday Transformation Starts Now
You now hold the keys to Friday's treasures - 60+ authentic duas that can transform your life when used properly. Remember, the difference between an ordinary Friday and a life-changing one lies in your preparation and presence of heart.
Here's your action plan: Start Thursday night with intention. Wake up early Friday for Fajr and the forgiveness dua. Arrive early at the mosque with wudu already made. Stay silent during khutbah but keep your heart active with silent duas. Catch both potential acceptance hours. End your Friday with gratitude and salawat.
Most importantly, consistency beats intensity. Better to maintain few authentic duas every Friday than overwhelming yourself with all 60+ at once. Pick 5-7 that resonate with your current needs, master their pronunciation, understand their meaning, and watch how Fridays become your weekly appointment with divine mercy.

Final Secret: The scholars say the hour of acceptance might be hidden like Laylatul Qadr - to encourage constant remembrance. But here's what I've learned: when you make Friday special through preparation, presence, and persistence, the entire day becomes your hour of acceptance. May Allah accept all your Friday duas!
