There is no need telling how disappointing and annoying it is to make payments for bulk SMS units for hours or in some rare cases days, and your bulk SMS account do not get credited. In view of the urgency of the purpose for such payments, that delay sometimes is unforgivable.

It’s been a full month since the introduction of the DND feature by network providers in Nigeria. This is as a result of the Nigeria Communication’s Commission enforced directive about the option to opt out of promotional messages. Here we take a review of some of the highs and the lows of the features along with possible area for improvement.

So far, we have considered seven (7) of the major reasons why you might experience failed delivery in your use of bulk SMS service. These reasons are not assumptions but clear facts, and knowing them is the first step towards avoiding and/or handling them when they occur. You might want to check them all over again here.

 

In this article, we look at the eight (8) and final reason in this series of reasons for bulk SMS delivery failure.

Of paramount importance to all bulk SMS service users, is instant delivery of bulk SMS to recipients as soon as they are sent, and rightly so. For one thing, it is annoying to get charged for messages sent while the supposed recipients don’t get it. For another thing, the urgency of the message sometimes makes failed delivery unforgivable.

 

In the coming series of articles, we look at 8 major reasons why you might experience bulk SMS delivery failure, so you can identify these and either avoid them if possible and/or handle them in the right way.
