When your message is not scheduled properly, the delivery report will read processing. The major reason why this might occur is if you do not have sufficient SMS units to send the message to the desired number of recipients.
As such, when the time chosen for delivering the message comes around, the system while trying to get the message sent won’t be able to push it out as the SMS units are is not sufficient and thus the message will keep showing processing instead of delivering.
Another reason might be not scheduling the message in the proper pattern. Like not selecting the year before selecting the month, day and time. Since the system cannot reconcile the scheduling instruction with a particular year, the message will not get sent and therefore shows processing.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY SCHEDULED MESSAGE SHOWS PROCESSING?
With the explanation given above, if your scheduled message shows processing, the message is certain not to get sent, and therefore you will never be charged for it. Therefore, if you notice that, and it is a result of insufficient SMS units, simply get more SMS units for your bulk SMS account and resend or reschedule the message.
If it’s a result of not scheduling in the right pattern, maybe not selecting the year. You can just go ahead and send the message again if it’s due for delivery. If you still want it to get delivered in the future, you can then schedule it again, this time doing so in the right pattern.
